About 500 ulta-Orthodox students attended the event from 20 schools in the cities of Hadera, Netanya, Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Petah Tikva and Netivot.‎

‎During the event, hundreds of students packed the museum’s rooms and halls to present the works they worked on throughout the year. The excitement was evident among the students, accompanied by an equally excited team of instructors. The students presented creative, original, innovative and admirable works.‎

‎”All of our students are united by the desire for knowledge, excellence and to receive the award they deserve,” noted Michal Ivgi, founder and director of Baba-Da. “Our vision is to enable young people in Haredi society to realize their personal potential and nurture an aspiration for excellence, knowledge development and skills,” she added.‎

‎Baba-Da is an NGO established in 2015 to provide a response to the growing need in Haredi society for up-to-date scientific and technological knowledge, and to develop important life skills from an early age while fully adapting to the lifestyles and values of the Haredi public. The association, which since its inception has already enrolled over 5,000 knowledge-thirsty ultra-Orthodox students in its various programs, was founded by Prof. Amnon Shashua, CEO and founder of Mobileye and Israel Prize laureate, and is also supported by Elie Wurtman, founder and managing partner of the venture capital fund PICO Venture Partners, Maimonides Foundation, Kirsh Foundation, Russell Berrie Fund and more.‎
